Our Team

Dr. Yeilding, a Birmingham, Alabama-based general surgeon, is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered surgical care with a special focus on minimally invasive surgery using da Vinci robotic technology and laparoscopy. She holds a degree in general business administration with minors in Spanish and Biology from the University of Alabama, where she gained early healthcare exposure as a patient care assistant at Carraway Methodist Medical Center's ER. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Yeilding worked in the ER at Brookwood Medical Center, solidifying her desire to become a physician. She earned her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency within the Brookwood Baptist health system. Returning to Brookwood Medical Center, she established Alabama Surgery Associates, where patient-centered care remains the cornerstone of her practice.
